period of fabrication, technical data, maximum speed, consumption, durability comparison to modern cars, etc.

Interesting facts. I also want to know if that was the last four speed car built on its level.

what kind of information? depending on the info. either the dealer, owners manual, a chilton book, or depending on what your lookin to do alldata

i want to buy old mercedes 1996 124 series E cl7ass any body with any reviews on that. what is the average per litre on the car . what are the pros and cons of the vehicle.

Well, first of all, the 1996 is a W210 class and not a W124. The W124 chassis ended production in 1995. The '96 is a great car with very few issues. Check the spring perches up front for rust or general wear. If they show that they are even the slightest bit rusty, run, don't walk away from that car! That is one repair I wouldn't want to repeat. The blower motor for the heat and AC has an update, but is also pretty expensive. Find out the history of the car and check to see that these repairs were made. If so, then buy it, because these are one of the last great cars from MB. EVERYTHING after the W210 chassis is junk!
