I have white bathroom floor mats. One in front of the sink and one in front of the toilet. They are starting to look dingy. I looked on the back but there arent any tags that tell you how to wash these.
Can I put these in the washing machine?? Also, can I use bleach on them?
I forgot to add,,,,,can you put them in the dryer, or should I just let them hang and air dry? And yes they are fabric mats with rubber backing.
Wash them with cool water and bleach. Because of the rubber backing, do not put in dryer, hang on the line until dry.
Why have them at all? Bathroom floor mats always look yucky, like toilet tank coverings.
Why not go with nothing on floors, except a step-out mat by the shower or tub, that is only on the floor during use? Your bathroom will look and smell a lot cleaner!

~~I'm assuming they are rugs with rubber backing? If so-I wash mine in the washer and use warm or hot water but be sure to use fabric softener, it helps keep the backing pliable and it will last much longer. I dry mine on high heat, and they come out great. If it's plain rubber or plastic mats, I would just hose them off with soap and water outside.~~I would stay away from bleach, you can add vinegar to the bleach compartment-it gets fabric cleaner.~~

Yes you can wash them in the washing machine. Warm water and very little bleach.

Is it stupid to get carpeted floor mats?
Jul 20, 2009 by Jen | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
I just bought a new Honda Fit, and I'm planning on buying floor mats online, but I can't decide between all-season/all-weather floor mats and carpeted mats. I do live in Ohio, so yes, we do get rain and snow, but I don't know, the carpeted floor mats look so nice! What do you think? If I get carpeted floor mats, will they just stain and be hard to maintain?
any floor matt is better than none, but i suggest you get the all weather ones because, the carpeted ones will eventually stain. If you spill in your car and have rubber floor mats all you have to do is spray them off with a hose and your fine. Rubber floor mats don't fade like carpeted do, and don't hold dirt like the carpet. I also agree carpeted look better but rubber perform better.

Toyota Recalls Hits Close to Home
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The fallout continues from the latest, massive recall of Toyota cars. The issue is gas pedals getting stuck. One local man says it happened to him, not once, but twice.
“They let me drive a truck that could kill my little boy and that kind of makes me kind of upset," says Cory Black of Hayfield.
Black says he only had his 2008 Toyota Tundra pick-up for a few months when it first happened.
"I was driving down 52 going toward Wal-Mart North and the truck decided to accelerate on its own and scared the living tar out of me," says Black.
Black says the truck went from 55 miles per hour to 80.
"When it started accelerating it just threw you back in the seat and it just took off it was just way too fast," says black.
