I have a 1980 chevy stepside pickup I am restoring and am changing the interior from brown to black. Does anybody know where I can find the 3 point factory shoulder belts. As far as I know, nobody reproduces them in the aftermarket. If not is there a way to change out the belt in the retractors. Thanks!
I own a shop, and an old Chevy pick up truck. If I were you, I would just contact a junkyard, and purchase the belt assemblies in black. There were several years in which the belt design was the same. The Junkyard will have a program on their computer that will tell them what years are the same. This will be your cheapest route to go. If you are determined to buy them new, then check out a company called "year one" for your needs. There are several companies that deal with just Chevy pick up parts. Do a search in the Yahoo bar, and you will see what I mean.
Part# 2:
OK, for all the na-sayer's on here, there "is" in fact a place to find about any part need for your truck, and that includes the parts that no one thinks can be found. Check out the links below.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

GM Builds A Scion Of Its Own
12.01.10
DETROIT — GMC is not a brand anyone would consider cool. General Motors hopes to change that with a boxy truck-like vehicle that channels the Scion XB. Or maybe it’s the Nissan Cube. Whatever it is the General is copying with the Granite concept, the bosses hope it makes GMC more popular with the kids.
In keeping with GM’s goal of building more small, fuel-efficient vehicles, the Granite that rolled out at the North American International Auto Show is the smallest vehicle GMC has ever built. At just 161 inches long, it’s about a foot shorter than a Chevrolet Cobalt. No, it’s not a Fiat 500 or Mini, but remember we’re talking about a division of GM known for no-nonsense workhorses like the GMC pickup and suburban barges like the Denali.
“Granite was conceived as a new type of vehicle from GMC – one that could stretch people’s ideas of what a GMC can be,” said Lisa Hutchinson, product marketing director for GMC. “We call it an ‘urban utility vehicle’ and our goal was redefining what the GMC name could mean to a new generation of customers looking for both bold design and functionality.”
