What snowmobile is better for trails and sometimes of trails Arctic Cat or Ski Doo?

For the most part i ride trail, ive had all Ski Doo's and want to be sure that im not missing out
To be honest, I have never had much luck, with Arctic Cat Snowmobiles... I have had them, since 1964, and, even then, they were not much. On the other hand, I have also had Ski-Doo Snowmobiles, since 1964, and, even though, the Arctic Cats were faster, they were no good in the deep snow. They were ok, on the trails, where they were groomed, but, once you got to where they weren't, then, they would bog down, and become stuck. Where as the old Ski-Doos, were not as fast, but, they were very good, in the deep snow, and, also where the trails were groomed as well. It seems to me, that any of the sleds that had a single cylinder engine, were better, in some respects. So, to answer your question, I would have to say... The Ski-Doo is better, for trail riding, as well as off the trail.

i have a sachs wankel engine from an old arctic cat panther snowmobile and need parts but don't know where to find any near me in washington county pennsylvania
Look at www.craigslist.org . Too bad you live so far away, someone here in Akron, Ohio was selling an old one this past summer. Put a "Want to buy" ad in Craigslist in any area you are willing to travel to to look or buy one. Times are tough and people are selling anything an everything. Good Luck

Although it was more than six weeks later than last year, the heavy snowfall again this year has brought wide grins to the faces of snowmobile enthusiasts and the local dealerships that enable their speed and adrenaline-infused addiction.
"The first couple of runs it was cold and not a lot of snow, but this past run (in Ruthville) on Saturday there were 150 riders," said Pat Miller, treasurer of the Magic City Driftbusters, one of the local snowmobile clubs that helps coordinate group snowmobile fun run events in the area. "Everybody was tired of cabin fever so they were coming out of the woodworks, including me and my whole family."
These nearly weekly fun runs has translated into big business for local snowmobile dealers.
"After 11 years of disaster we are back up to where we should be. Sales are good," said Diane Hase, who owns Jeff's Sport Shop with her husband. "Nearly everyone's cleaned out of the used and we only have a few new ones left on the sales floor."
