I am considering purchasing a Infinity Basslink Powered Subwoofer (10 inch). Are there any other good value subwoofers I should consider? Or is this the money-maker?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but powered subwoofers mean the amp is built into the woofer, right?
good choice. get the baselink 2(newest model) and if u can order it on crutchfield. i believe they have a deal going with a free upgrade and u get the 4channel upgrade. it gives u 4channels that run 35watts rms u can run ur speakers on if u have aftermarket speakers

I think you're right that is a good subwooofer but, JBL also has a great sounding woofer. Good luck!

i have a rockford fosgate p300-2 amp. what 10" infinity subs are better?

what Infinity Kappa 104.7w subwoofer would be better for this amp..a 2 ohm or 4 ohm..

Those subs are basically just a dual 4 ohm. They are switchable between 2 and 8 ohms.
It really doesn't matter. If I were you. I would wire them together to a 4 ohm final load. If you set them to 2 ohms, wire them in series. If you set them to 8 ohms, wire them in parallel. Either way you'll end up with a 4 ohm mono load.
