Which pair of component speakers would be better MB Quart FSA 216 or Hifonics Zxi6.5?

They are both the same price and are made by te same company, Maxssonics. I know MB Quarts are the higher end brand but these are their affordable speakers. Currently, I'm swinging towards the MB's because I have a pair of 6x9 and think they sound good.
I'd check the power ratings first to get optimal sound. If you want quality sound, MB. If you plan on blastiing them then Hifonics. I'd go MB.
Remember to use bass blockers on the fronts. maybe 200Hz for starters

In looking at the differring characteristics. Obviously power handling -- the question is always how accurate is that anyway.
He HF's list a much higher sensitivity which is surprising. Silk tweeter with the HF vs metal with the MB. HF has a steeper crossover. HF has an exotic cone material.
If you're looking at specs the HF's appear to have the more impressive goodie list, but I would still expect the MB's to be the better sounding speaker - I guess on reputation of the two brands more than anything.
FWIW - Don't high pass comps at 200. 100 at the high side. I try to go as low as I can with them. 60-70 if they can do it.

Mb quart reference series (rvf 216) quality?
Jan 13, 2008 by standforme2002 | Posted in Car Audio
Hello. For my 1999 Dodge Durango, I am replacing the speakers with much better, more powerful ones. The first pair I decided on getting were the Polk Audio mmc6500's. They're great speakers, and I did manage to try them out at a Fry's Electronics store, though I would've ordered them anyway based on the homogeneously positive reviews, and they cost $160 total. They'll be running off a powerful kicker amp at 120 watts rms. However, I first wanted to go with something a bit cheaper to replace the back pair of speakers, to be mounted as coaxials. I decided on getting the MB Quart rvf 216 6.5" 2 way speakers for about $130. Decided on them cus they have similar rms ratings. Now, I know MB is a very good brand, but I've never heard the brand, and I certainly haven't heard the rvf's. I bought them anyway, since I can't quite afford the Polk's for the front right now.
My question is, has anyone tried the rvf or reference series, and can comment on their quality, vs the Polk mmc6500's?
I've heard the MB QUARTS but not the Polks. Just about anything from either of those two manufactures is good stuff though! I'm a Polk Audio man but am seriously considering MB QUART or FOCAL for my next car audio project.

I have a pair of MB Quart Q Series QSD-216 6.5 "speaker components and a twin QSD-213 5.25" speakers components. I want to get into my 93 Lexus SC300 in enclosures custome. The speakers are fashionable 4 "ancestors in artificial barricade. I want to get the pen with a shapeless custom made from MDF. I do not corral the specs or dimensions of the net. I tried MB Quarts support the groom but they will not feel for my emails. usurping all would be greatly appreciated.
