What kind of society have we turned into, that we have to have DVD players in the car for the children?

I grew up before there were video players, DVD players, and computers, what are we doing to our children? Besides making them mass killers, and mentally deficient in life?
Parents need to keep their children occupied, for goodness sake they don't want to have talk to their own children. And then they wonder why their kids are social misfits.
Total Idiot Parents!!!!!

I's Neo. I burned a DVD and the player didn't played it.
Should the disk be of certain type? DVD+R DVD-R?
Or the Neo player is unable to work with video?

Movie studios realize they're in a similar technology transition. Consumers are eventually going to stream anything they want to rent directly to a TV and occasionally download a digital copy to a laptop or a phone. That moment's not quite here yet, but it's coming.
No one's yet figured out how they're going to make money from that business model, something that those of us who've lived through the last ten years in the music business find both depressing and entertaining.
