Dec 27, 2007 by KneegrowPlz | Posted in Car Audio
I have a Clarion VRX575USB In-dash DvD CD and DVD player. I have the USB cable running out through the glove box but when i try to plug in my Microsoft Zune into the USB port it acts as if it doesnt read it.. there are no songs on the screen or anything... so how do I get my Zune to work on it?
Any help is greatly apreciated :D
Thanks
I have two connectors pulled through my glove box... one of which is USB which i have been informed is not the one i need. the other one is a round one kind of looks like a headset end would go into it...
You dont use a USB cable, there is a SPECIFIC IPOD/MP3 cable that must be used. Without it the reciever doesn't recognize that it's there.

Among the Christmas gifts under the tree a few weeks ago, the
accustomed presents were there. You know — socks, underwear, pajamas,
new slippers, but a various gift stirred my curiosity.
When I undid the murder story present’s colorful wrappings, I was
both surprised and happy to find that the present was a DVD
entitled “Full Firm.” I’d received the film versions of five
marvelous excepting stories by William Sydney Caretaker — aka, O. Henry —
all on one DVD.
O. Henry knew what blunt times were all about as he scuffled to
make a living in the New York Big apple of the early 20th century.
The great actor Charles Laughton, himself one of a well-disposed, was
featured in “The Cop and the Anthem.” Jeanne Crain and Farley
Granger took on the bittersweet “The Prize of the Magi.” Ann Baxter
with Jean Peters played haunting roles in “The Last Leaf.” In
withal, the DVD contained “The Ransom of Red Chief” and “Clarion
Call,” perfectly a quintet.
That gift took me all the way back to the brumal and snowy
sidewalks of old New York, where so many of O. Henry’s stories were
set.

Clarion NX500 6.5 "in the dash motorized touchscreen DVD/CD/MP3/USB Receiver, Built-in Bluetooth and sailing
(I also reviewed this on [...])
I bought the Clarion NZ500 After exploring many of the normal dash receivers double din. I found the lowest sacrifice at (Walk 2010) for $ 574 using [...] - which eventually took me to the seller on Amazon. If the search for completely NZ500 on Amazon, the seller I bought was not to assess and the lowest I could find was $ 585. What really sold me on the NX500 is a speedometer.I've seen it on another element, and this too was Clarion. See my picture above.
Anyway, I see the reward was great piece of merchandise freight E for a 6.5 "silver screen, DVD sporty, built in sailing, HD Transistor well prepared and Sirius Sat in preparation. What I absolutely loved about the NX500 is that there is no son / cables coming out the back of the component. For reference, the rear of the module is absolutely confess without son / cables hanging out. What you do is Boost in cables necessary cables you deprivation, as the wiring that goes to your car, and the SAT antenna connector or Sirius. I did not adjust to the lack of a son extrinsic amp, so I have no shortage of promoting these cables at the rear of the element. In front of another unit owner, you are not an endorsement. The back of the component is cluttered son who may not be necessary. Not with NZ500. Other units I've seen (Dual, Hide, etc.) have all connectors son in the back of the body if you impecunious or not. This makes for a tousle establish....
