Which car stereo/deck/in-dash dvd 5.3" should i get?
Dec 12, 2008 by xavier13311 | Posted in Car Audio
I've been looking at getting a new car stereo for hopefully under $300 but can go up to around $325. I can't decide on what to get. I've seen a few but i have no idea if companys like TKO or Lanzar have a bad or good rep. I dont really like the idea of having a 7" so please let me know any information you have on this subject.
I would also like to have an aux input and ipod cable in it.
don't worry about a 5.3 screen you cant see anything anyway. go with a pioneer deck and get the ipod interface its great (even though I hate ipods ,ok apple all together) but i used to be an installer and trust me if you love your ipod like everyone els does you'll lover there interface.

in dash dvd player problems- i cant watch dvds in my car even with the ebrake on?
Feb 06, 2009 by Joab L | Posted in Car Audio
So i got a touch screen dvd player deck in my car, and when ever i pop a dvd in there i get that common message saying its unlawful to drive while watching movies- put on the ebrake. But that's the problem, i put on the ebrake and nothing is changing, its staying at that screen. I can hear the audio, but its still at that screen no matter how much i fool around with the damn ebrake. Anyone else ever experienced this? Please help.
I was planning on having a good night with my chick, but idk if thats going to happen now
its an xdvd700 deck, and if this means anything, theres something wrong with the sensor to my ebrake, meaning that it says that its constantly on (in my dash) while im driving.
When ever i eject the dvd, i can see the picture for a couple seconds, but then it just ejects like i told it to.

You can judge the in-Sport CD in-dash, which is on balance combined with the ghetto blaster-tuner and supports MP3 and WMA files. But those looking for something remarkable can opt for a receiver in dash CD, which works with multiple CD changer and cassette. Or, you can always solder an athlete handy CD to an existing in-dash audio part using either a line and a Bluetooth adapter or a wireless ally. The recovery is completely ours.
