I have been looking to buy a new dvd receiver for my car and crutchfield said my chassis size was DD,E so i found a couple double din receivers but not all will fit in my car crutchfield says. I don't understand how some can fit and others wont?
One word: depth. The receivers that won't fit are too deep. Normally, you can get it to fit if you are willing to do some modification to the air ducts that run behind the stereo opening. Hope this answers your question.
i have a panasonic CQ-VD7500U In-Dash LCD TV/DVD Receiver installed in my car for 6 months now. i bought this used from my friend. theres no sound coming from the receiver anymore....the picture works fine, dvd plays but theres no sound. no sound what so ever from dvds, cds or menu

well first off if you have the speakers connected to your deck then maybe something internal blew so try to hook them up to a amp and see if th rca outputs still work this might be the easiest way out of this but if that dosent work and you have them connected to a amp already then check your wiring if all fails then if the product is still under warranty then you could send it in good luck bro

This receiver sounds great for the evaluation. It is also very friendly to install and configure if you're semi-industrial. My beef is that it is not "entertainment charm" with the DirecTV HD receiver.
