For $300 you cant get a very good screen. Only other brands you got to choose from is like Jenson and Dual.

i wouldn't bother only spending $300 on a flip out screen because it will end up being junk. Either save your money to get a higher end one you know will perform best and last, or go single DIN and not touch screen.

What is the best in dash receiver (head unit) for the price?

I'm really looking for a good head unit/receiver for my car. Not one with a big flip-out or 7" touch screen or anything. However I have seen the head units with 3.5" or 4" screens, that would be really nice, if you have one of those let me know if you like it or not.

What's the best one for around 200.

Like the others said Alpine. They have great quality, and great features, at a great prices.

Motorola Adds New Android Device to Take on IPhone

By Hugo Miller and Ian King

Jan. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Motorola Inc., the largest U.S. mobile-phone maker, added another device to its lineup based on Google Inc.’s Android software, aiming to find a hit product that rivals Apple Inc.’s iPhone.

The phone, called the Backflip, has a flip-out qwerty keyboard and a touch pad on the back of the display, Co-Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Jha said yesterday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Backflip will be available in the Americas, Europe and Asia in the first quarter.

“As we rejuvenate our portfolio to focus on the smartphone section, where the majority of the growth and profitability is, I feel relatively comfortable that we’re headed in the right direction,” Jha said in an interview. Motorola plans to introduce at least 20 new models this year, he said.

Jha, 46, joined Motorola from chipmaker Qualcomm Inc. in 2008 to run the phone business, which has struggled to match the popularity of the iPhone and other smartphones. Under his guidance, Motorola introduced the Droid and the Cliq last year, its first two phones based on the Android operating system.
