How do you install an Alpine 9850Ri car cd player?

I bought an alpine cd player CDE-9850Ri for my girlfriends car (which is a renualt cleo diamond or dymic or sumthin like that) and i would like to install it for her to save us money.

Ive heard its pretty straight forward but id like to have a brief understanding of how to connect things before i take the old one out.

Any one achieved this or attempted this?

All recent cars & stereos have standard DIN connectors - just unplug the old & plug in the new. At worst, you'd need an adapter from somewhere like Halfords for around a fiver.

What brands of Car CD players have extra security features in addition to detachable face plates?

I recently got my Alpine CD player stolen from my car and I am wanting a new player, but am afraid that the new one will just get taken again. I live in an apartment complex where several cars were hit in one night and I was "lucky" enough to be one of them. I am usually very diligent about removing the faceplate, and just simply forgot that night. Anyway, I want a new player and I want to get something with some additional security features. I know some brands make them with security codes that need to be reentered after the power is disconnected or a certain CD needs to be inserted to get it to work again, but when looking for a new player, I am having trouble figuring out what brands and models have this and it is a frustrating search! Please help! Thanks in advance!

eclipse has a security code in addition to a detachable face. they also used to come with two small window stickers.
I would suggest an alarm as well. you should be able to find a good alarm installed for ~$125
